Lora Paolemern is the youngest—and only—daughter of Emperor Aulparadin, sovereign of the vast Paolemern Empire, a realm built upon conquest, hierarchy, and deeply patriarchal traditions. Born into unimaginable wealth and power, Lora has nonetheless spent much of her life isolated within the imperial court, regarded less as a true heir and more as an inconvenient anomaly within a dynasty obsessed with masculine succession.
