Queen Myra Draemere, daughter of Geren the Third, King of the Glenwer Clan and ruler of the Seadrake Lands, is a woman renowned throughout the north for both her strength and her grace. Fierce in spirit yet deeply compassionate, she possesses the rare ability to command a hall with a single glance while still earning the sincere affection of those who serve beside her.
Though born among the rugged coasts and storm-grey highlands of Glenwer, Myra adapted swiftly to life within the Clay Lands, bringing with her much of the resolve and steel for which the Seadrake peoples are known. Many who first meet the queen are struck by her calm dignity, mistaking gentleness for softness. It is an error few make twice.
Above all else, Myra is devoted to her children.
The tragic death of her son Braebyr wounded her more deeply than most could comprehend. Those closest to the queen speak of how grief hardened into something sharper in the years that followed—a fierce, almost primal protectiveness directed towards Braebyr’s surviving twin, Prince Arbyr.
Where once Myra’s compassion stood foremost, now vigilance walks beside it. She watches closely, listens carefully, and trusts sparingly whenever her son’s safety is concerned. Few within the royal court are foolish enough to test the limits of that devotion.
There is an old saying among hunters:
Never stand between a mother bear and her cub.
Among the people of the Clay Lands, many would argue the same wisdom applies to Queen Myra Draemere.
