Those chosen to receive a Fertility Cube—typically promising Corynths—are commanded to lie with a designated female initiate known as a carynor, for the sole purpose of producing a child. Children born of these sanctioned rites are believed to possess a blessed lineage, marked from birth for advancement within the hierarchy of the Ardulai. Many rise swiftly through the priesthood, revered as heirs to generations of divine purpose and religious authority.
